Oxford Coach & Horses

The Oxford Coach & Horses guest house is that very rare client for a marketing agency – a business that isn’t looking for new business. They are invariably booked up well in advance, usually with returning guests who have stayed there previously and now aren’t interested in staying elsewhere in Oxford.
But their site, having not changed in a decade, still needed a serious overhaul to bring it in line with the standards of the web today. We redesigned the site so that it kept the character of the original website, but with a responsive layout so it could be viewed on mobile devices, as well as making better use of the imagery they had access to, and bringing the wealth of positive reviews on to the site rather than sending visitors off to TripAdvisor and Google to view them. The site was built in WordPress to enable them to update any information much more easily than the flat HTML site they had been using previously, and the handoff to their booking engine was also improved upon.
