We Rock (Wanna Roll?)

Originally from Michigan, Jean (aka Jeannie) is Rare Form’s Founder & CEO. She studied marketing/advertising at Michigan State University, taught herself design along the way, and opened Rare Form in 1998. She isn’t just a figurehead, she  leads our design, marketing & SEO teams, and takes point on web design projects and designs the core of all of the websites we produce. She is also a professionally trained photographer, and has worked as a consultant for Fortune companies. When not in the office, Jeannie is a reader of many books, movie buff, likes Jack & coke, makes the best steak in the UK, and is an avid gamer (Call of Duty, Overwatch, TFT, Once Human and too many Steam titles to list).

Joss studied Artificial Intelligence at Edinburgh University, then moved to silicon valley for a few years where he wrote software for the first generation of 3D printers and helped create agiloft.com. He brings over 25 years of solid programming and software development to Rare Form, and was the lead on developing our the Tank CMS system.  He has multiple patents under his name, and is really good at Ms. Pac Man.  He is an all round nice guy and makes a mean beef bourgogne. Fun fact: if snoring were an Olympic event, Joss would win the gold for England.

Despite Zoe’s age, she has been a graphic designer for years. She designed her first logo for Rare Form when she was only 15 (and it  is still being used on packaging today). We never have juniors on our team, but we make an exception for Zoe. Jeannie is working with her Godfather style to get her prepped to take over Rare Form when the time comes. Zoe is currently studying Graphic Design at Oxford Brookes and is honing her skills interning at Rare Form on breaks and holidays. In her free time she enjoys travelling, photography, darts, and generally having all of the fun.

Geoff is the super hero at Rare Form who keeps everything moving and running seamlessly. He has a varied background studying Biology at university (and really likes bugs as a result). Eventually found his calling in doing project management and developing learning management systems as a consultant for many years crossing a myriad of industries. We’ve known Geoff a very long time and when we needed a PM, he wanted to come on board to crack the whip on the Rare Form ship. In his free time he spends a lot of time with his adorable dog Donut, is a reader of LitRPG, and is an avid gamer with more Steam titles than should be legal.

Michael makes websites work, and kicks ass, not necessarily in that order. His coding skills are legendary, and one of Rare Form’s secret weapons in the War on Mediocre Websites.  He also has a masters in neuroscience and a limited edition Hello Kitty multitool he carries on his person at all times. One of these facts is a fib.

Ru is an artistic genius. He’s a videographer and photographer, but so much more. He does artistic installations that have been in world renowned locations like Royal Albert Hall. Ru interned for us for years, and we bring him back for projects that need that cutting edge artistic touch, as his eye is second to none.

Adrienne worked with us many moons ago, and we’ve been working with her ever since. She left England and fell in love with a great California home grown man, and has continued to work with us virtually from her warm west coast home. She is a genius designer, and we love her to bits.
